Kabza De Small Cancels Major Event in Soshanguve over Fear of Assassination

Kabza De Small made the difficult decision to cancel a significant event in Soshanguve where he was slated to perform, citing safety concerns in the wake of DJ Peter Mashata’s tragic assassination.

The recent violent incident involving the esteemed Tshwane MC and DJ, Peter “Mashata” Mabuse, has amplified existing worries about the safety of performing artists, particularly regarding gun violence. This unsettling development in Soshanguve deeply affected Kabza De Small, prompting him to withdraw from an upcoming performance.

Scheduled to appear at the Bom Extravaganza All Black Edition on Freedom Day, 27 April, in Soshanguve, Kabza De Small opted to pull out of the event, much to the surprise of organizers. Despite efforts from his management to persuade him to fulfill the commitment, Kabza remained steadfast, expressing his firm belief that Soshanguve is currently unsafe and off-limits until the situation stabilizes. Additionally, he graciously offered to reimburse the organizers for any initial deposits made to secure his appearance.
