Vyno Keys Departs from Amu Classic and Kappie’s Umzonkonko Music Academy.

A rising star in the Amapiano scene, Vyno Keys, has made public his departure from Umzonkonko Music Records, the label recently launched by Amu Classic and Kappie.

Having joined the label in 2023 after Amu Classic and Kappie’s split from Simnandi Records, Vyno Keys quickly rose to prominence, dropping hits like “Seng’shilo” featuring LeeMcKrazy, Scotts Maphuma, Cowboii, Muziqal Tone, and Stady K, as well as “Ka’baba” alongside Amu Classic, Kappie, LeeMckrazy, Pushkin, and Springle.

After nearly two fruitful years collaborating with Amu Classic and Kappie and enjoying considerable exposure, Vyno Keys has decided to part ways with Umzonkonko Music Records.

“In formal notification, Vyno Keys has officially left Umzonkonko Music Records. Following thoughtful discussions, both parties have amicably agreed to go their separate ways,” read a statement released on behalf of Vyno Keys.

Expressing gratitude for the label’s support and contribution to his career, Vyno Keys announced his intention to pursue his solo career moving forward.

“Vyno Keys will now venture into independent artistic pursuits. We appreciate Umzonkonko Music Records for their role in Vyno Keys’ journey thus far and anticipate future collaborations while wishing the label continued success,” the statement continued.

This shift towards independence for Amapiano artists upon achieving breakthrough success has become a common trend, and Vyno Keys’ decision falls in line with this trajectory.
